Mobile and Semi-Permanent Heating Solutions by Xeric Systems products can be used anywhere when heat is needed in a hurry. The trailer-based systems are portable and easily towed. Our simple solutions deliver heat in through experienced and competent hands.
DRYING
Raising the air temperature causes the evaporation rate to increase which dramatically reduces the time to dry. For example, typically, the average building dries in less than a week and has minimal strip-out and reinstatement works. We ensure significant savings in the costs of alternative accommodation, business interruption or increased costs of working.
Curing of plaster and paint can be accelerated using heat. Holding a constant temperature in setting plasters promotes a consistent structure and strength.
Speed drying of ships holds using hot air massively reduces down-time in preparation work and the coating / finishing. Working in a warm environment also reduces the drying time of the coating. This offers massive saving and reduces demurrage.
HEATING
Raising the air temperature allows work or events to continue notably throughout the colder months.
Temporary heating needs are solved by direct solutions or via coupling to existing infrastructures:-for example, boiler breakdowns. Xeric System heaters can be on site and connect into the existing pipe work to restore warmth or can provide temporary pipe-work and heat exchangers to replace the radiators. Xeric System equipment can be quickly deployed to provide temporary heating for temporary structures such as Marquees thus eliminating “cold spots”
STERILISING
The intensity of heating can be controlled to maximize the effectiveness for:-

- Pathogens / virus
High levels of heat are intolerable to pests and mould. The hot / dry air desiccates pests and moulds, targeting the source of the infection. Hot air touches all surfaces ensuring that eradication is total and complete.
